David Kim…
… is a Korean-Canadian visual artist based in Toronto, Ontario. Their work integrates East Asian cultural symbolism, animal imagery, and the movement-driven aesthetics of graffiti to explore identity, energy, and the diasporic experience within urban environments. Through dynamic compositions and gestural mark-making, He creates murals that emphasize rhythm, motion, and emotional presence in public space.
Influenced by both traditional symbolic systems, animals, and contemporary street culture, his practice reflects the experience of navigating multiple cultural contexts as a Korean-Canadian artist. Their work has been realized through public art and community-based projects, where they seek to activate spaces through visually bold, culturally grounded narratives that engage diverse audiences.
